Prince of Wales highlights PDT as cancer treatment His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales recently gave PDT the Royal Seal of approval by visiting a group of patients at University College Hospital (UCH) London who successfully received the treatment for a variety of cancers. UCH is one of a number of hospitals in the UK embracing PDT: others include Leeds, Truro, Swansea, Manchester, Goole and Dundee.
We hope you find the above article interesting, as 8 year old Connah Broom, who was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in August 2006, has used PDT in addition to a complete organic diet, as part of his treatment against the disease for 3 years this coming October. Connah is today living a full life just like any other child his age, and is surprising his surroundings with how well he is doing, and also his amazing level of energy! At his last clinic check-up in May 2010, his weight was 36.1kg, and his height was 133.3 cm. This for a child who was not expected to see his 5th birthday!
