The 2008 Summer Services Charity Hockey Tournament will be held on the 28th of June 2008, 11AM - 9PM at Slough Ice Arena. This event is organised by The Metropolitan Police and The Peelers Ice Hockey Club in association with The English Ice Hockey Association.
Swimming The Channel 2008

There are few challenges that can stand the test of time. With modern science and technology many great challenges are not undertaken on the same basis as the original pioneers who first dreamed them possible. When Captain Matthew Webb swam the Channel in 1875 he used one costume, hat, pair of goggles and grease. For the crossing to be recognized officially today the same restrictions must apply.
